6/30/15 - Cuyahoga National Park, OH

The sun is shining this morning but it’s supposed to rain in the afternoon.  Jim spent the better part of the morning paying bills and changing credit card numbers on his bills that are automatically paid.  One of his cards was cancelled due to fraudulent activity.  He also filled our water tank using our battery operated pump and our big blue Aquatainer.  We then drove into Cuyahoga Valley National Park for the third day.  We stopped at Brecksville Station and saw a truss bridge from the 1800s.  Then we stopped at the 1826 Frazee House.  The Canal Visitor Center had exhibits on the canal and area.  They also had a lock that had been reconstructed.

Yesterday we drove to the southern end of the park and today we drove to the northern end.  On Tinkers Creek Road we stopped at Tinkers Creek Gorge and Bridal Veil Falls.  The last stop was at Viaduct Park and Great Falls.  It started to thunder and just as we left the park it started to rain.  We drove into Stow and found the laundry and then went to the VFW/American Legion across the street and had a beer.  It quit raining and we sat outside for a while when we got back to the Casita.  During the night thunder woke us up and it rained again.
