7/10/15 - Montague, NJ

The Casita has been to 49 states.  We have not camped with it in 4 of them.  They are West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey.  Tonight we are in Montague, New Jersey!  We have been in and out of 3 states today.  Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.  After setting up in New Jersey we drove back through New York and back into Pennsylvania to Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.  This is a 40 mile stretch of the Delaware River.

We went to three waterfalls today.  Raymondsville Falls is the largest in Pennsylvania.  Silver Threads Falls was long and skinny.  Dingmans Falls was very beautiful.  On the drive through the park a bear ran across the road in front of us.  He was moving too fast to get a picture.  This is the first bear we have seen since Alaska.  After driving along the road we backtracked to the town of Milford and went to the local American Legion and had dinner tonight.  The campers before us left firewood so we made another campfire tonight and sat outside until nearly 10 pm.
