Jim drove again today. We went to Rock Creek Park – Old Stone House in Georgetown. This
is the oldest house in DC and is the only pre-revolutionary war building still standing
in DC. Then we went to Mary McLeod
Bethune Council House. She was an American educator and civil rights leader. Then we went to Frederick Douglass National
Historic Site. He was an abolitionist,
social reformer, orator, writer and statesman.
After resting at the Casita for a while we went to the American Legion
and Jim updated the blog using their WIFI.
