6/17/15 - Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, KY

While we were dumping this morning I saw a really strange bug.  Turns out it was a Caddisfly.  It had really long horns.  We went back into Oneida and stopped at the Ace Hardware and Walmart.  We only drove 53 miles today to the Stearns, Kentucky area of the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area.  We stopped in Stearns, Kentucky at the railroad information center.  Then we drove to the Blue Heron Campground.  After unhooking we drove to Devils Jump Overlook and Blue Heron Overlook.  Then we drove down to the old coal mine at Blue Heron.  The office closes at 3 pm so we were the only ones there reading the information and looking around.  You can take a train ride from Stearns to the National Park and back again.
