8/11/15 - Felton, DE

We drove to Killen’s Pond State Park in Delaware.  The only reason we came here was to camp in Delaware.  We have been to 49 states with the Casita but we haven’t camped in all 49.  We needed three -- Maryland, Delaware and West Virginia.  Now we only need to camp in one more – West Virginia.  There wasn’t anything we really needed to see in Delaware except Dogfish Head Brewing.  After getting a site to camp in we drove to Milford and stopped at Mispillion River Brewing.  Then we drove to the famous Dogfish Head Brewery.  This brewery specializes in unusual, experimental, and high alcohol beers.  Their most popular brews are IPAs – 60 Minute, 90 Minute, and 120 Minute denoting the boil time during which hops are continuously added.  Next we drove to 16 Mile Brewing and then back to the Casita.  Today was a relaxing day. At Dogfish Head the weather turned really dark and rained on us before we got back to camp.  The clouds were really eerie.
