8/19/15 - Clinton, MD
We took the train into Washington DC again
today. We went to the Smithsonian
American Art Museum and Portrait Gallery.
After 3 hours here, we walked through China Town and then went to Gordon
Biersch and had a beer and some lunch at 3pm. A couple of stops from us were
Union Station and the U.S. Postal Museum so we went there and walked through the
exhibits of stamps. We saw the world's rarest stamp. I also went to the U.S. Post Office in the building and bought
the new Elvis CD that goes with the new Elvis stamp that was released on August
12th. Then we walked to
Capitol City Brewing for a beer and to let the rush hour crowd thin out of the
train stations.
